As with all medications, Lunesta® (eszopiclone) has side effects so be sure to speak with your doctor about the benefits and risks of taking LUNESTA. Do not take LUNESTA if you are allergic to anything in it. Please view the medication guide for a complete listing of ingredients. Before starting LUNESTA, tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including if you:
- have a history of depression, mental illness, or suicidal thoughts
- have a history of drug or alcohol abuse or addiction
- have liver disease
- are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
Tell your doctor about all of the medicines you take including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements. Medicines can interact with each other, sometimes causing serious side effects. Do not take LUNESTA with other medicines that can make you sleepy. Know the medicines you take. Keep a list of your medicines with you to show your doctor and pharmacist each time you get a new medicine.
Talk with your doctor
The longer your sleep trouble lasts, the less likely it is to go away on its own. In fact, it may even get worse. If you think you’d like to try LUNESTA, download this coupon and ask your doctor for LUNESTA. Don’t forget to bring along your diary and questions for your doctor so that you can create a sleep plan.
