There are different treatment options available depending on your sleep problem. So it's important to tell your doctor about your specific symptoms (i.e., trouble falling or staying asleep (waking up unrefreshed). Also remember to share how long you've been experiencing these sleep difficulties.
Here's a list of other things that would be helpful to bring to your visit:
- List of all medications (prescription and non-prescription), vitamins and supplements you are taking.
- Health conditions, including if you:
- Have a history of depression, mental illness, or suicidal thoughts
- Have a history of drug or alcohol abuse or addiction
- Have liver disease
- Are pregnant, planning to become pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Medical history, including major illnesses and procedures. In addition, you may also want to be prepared to discuss your caffeine intake and exercise frequency.
- List of questions, so you don't forget to ask any of them.
- Sleep Diary
- LUNESTA Coupon
