What is LUNESTA?


If you're tired of being tired and think you’d like to try Lunesta® (eszopiclone), simply download this coupon and bring it to your doctor for a discussion to see if LUNESTA is right for you. In order to prepare, you may also want to bring along the items listed below.

  • List of all medications (prescription and non-prescription), vitamins and supplements you are taking.
  • Health conditions, including if you:
    • Have a history of depression, mental illness, or suicidal thoughts
    • Have a history of drug or alcohol abuse or addiction
    • Have liver disease
    • Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Medical history, including major illnesses and procedures. In addition, you may also want to be prepared to discuss your caffeine intake and exercise frequency.
  • List of questions, so you don't forget to ask any of them.

Lunesta helps you fall asleep quickly, so take it right before bed. Be sure you have at least eight hours to devote to sleep before becoming active. Until you know how you'll react to Lunesta, you should not drive or operate machinery. Do not take Lunesta with alcohol. Call your doctor right away if after taking Lunesta you walk, drive, eat or engage in other activities while asleep. In rare cases, severe allergic reactions can occur. Most sleep medicines carry some risk of dependency. Do not use sleep medicines for extended periods without first talking to your doctor.
